Where It Began (2010–2018)

Sherwood & Company traces its roots to 2010, when Blake Sherwood began his real estate career at Vanguard Realty.

During these formative years, Blake built his practice through relationships, consistency, and hands-on service. He learned early that real estate is fundamentally about guidance and trust — listening, advising, and advocating for people during major life decisions.

Those years established the core values that still guide the team today:

        - Real estate is a service profession
        - Clear, steady communication supports confident decisions
        - Long-term relationships matter more than short-term transactions

In 2022, the team officially launched with a commitment to purposeful growth and a structured, client-centered process.

Roei joined as an agent partner, bringing strong client advocacy, deep market understanding, and the ability to connect across cultures. He is fluent in English, Czech, and Hebrew, allowing the team to support a diverse range of clients confidently and respectfully.

Athina became the team’s Operations Coordinator, ensuring workflow, documentation, and communication are organized and seamless throughout the transaction process. She is fluent in English and Filipino, bringing cultural awareness, warmth, and a high level of professional care to both clients and internal systems.

Rick expanded the team’s range of services by bringing experience in residential rentals, commercial leasing and sales, and investment strategy. He is fluent in English and Spanish, widening the accessibility of the team’s advisory approach to more communities throughout Greater Boston and the North Shore.

John serves as Field Support & Logistics Manager, handling signage, smoke detector inspections, access coordination, and on-site compliance tasks that keep transactions moving smoothly behind the scenes. His work allows the agents to remain focused on representation, negotiation, and strategy.
